Dr. Clara Lin is the Vice President & Chief Medical Information Officer at Seattle Children’s. A Med-Peds physician with a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, she is board-certified in Clinical Informatics and focuses on leveraging technology to improve patient care and clinician wellbeing.
Outside of work, she is inspired by the humanitarian efforts of Clara Barton, founder of the American Red Cross. Dr. Lin chose her own first name, Clara, when she moved to the U. S. at age 14 and was proud to later learn she shared it with such an influential figure.
She co-founded and chairs Seattle Children’s Artificial Intelligence Review Board, establishing the hospitals inaugural AI governance structure.
