Dr. Claudette Lajam is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Langone, serving as System Chief of Orthopedic Quality and Safety. She specializes in hip and knee replacements, revision surgery, and surgical innovation. A graduate of Cornell University and Mayo Clinics residency program, she holds numerous leadership roles, including on the AAOS Board of Directors.

She has served on medical missions to Haiti and the Dominican Republic and volunteers with her husband on a Community Emergency Response Team in Westchester County, NY.
