Clay Richards is a Nashville-based Operating Partner at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, focusing on healthcare investments. He was previously the founder and CEO of naviHealth, a company he built to transform post-acute care. He holds a law degree from the University of Mississippi and a finance degree from Washington and Lee University.
Outside of his direct professional roles, Clay maintains a strong connection to his alma mater, Washington and Lee University. He is deeply integrated into the Nashville business community, having founded his company there and continuing to operate from the city in his current private equity role.
He started naviHealth in 2012 with a self-described "swashbuckling attitude" to revolutionize how post-acute care was delivered.
