Corey Cooper

Corey Cooper is the founder of BOTE, a lifestyle brand he built from the ground up. An Auburn University-trained mechanical engineer, he leveraged his technical background to innovate in the watersports industry, leading the company through a successful acquisition by Kent Outdoors.

His passion for the coastal Florida lifestyle, particularly fishing and paddling, was the direct inspiration for creating BOTE. He identified a need for a more stable and functional paddleboard and began designing and building prototypes in his garage, blending his personal hobbies with his professional expertise.

Interesting fact: The idea for BOTE came from his personal frustration with existing paddleboards being too unstable for fishing.
