Dr. Dan Brant is the Proprietor of Daniel J. Brant & Associates, specializing in First Nations relations and economic development. With a PhD from Nipissing University and an MPA from Queens University, he has served as CEO for several national Aboriginal corporations and was recently appointed to the Glenbow Museums Board of Governors.
He is deeply connected to his community and heritage, with a strong interest in preserving Indigenous languages and culture. His perspective is shaped by his familys history, as both his mother and mother-in-law were survivors of residential schools, which informs his views on colonialism and reconciliation.
