Dan Lapus

Dan Lapus is the Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Technology at Cvent, where he directs the companys entire technology division, including product development and operations. A graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Computer Information Systems, he has been a key architect of Cvents software platform from its beginning.

His career is deeply intertwined with his university network. He established Cvent alongside fellow James Madison University alumni, underscoring a strong commitment to his founding team and their shared vision for revolutionizing the events industry through technology.

Dan is one of the original four founders who launched Cvent from a two-bedroom apartment and successfully steered the company through the dot-com bust.
