Daniel Afione is the President of the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI). An Electromechanical Engineer from the University of Buenos Aires, he has extensive private sector experience from a 27-year career at Toyota in various executive roles. He also holds a postgraduate degree in Energy Engineering.
Based on his leadership at an environmental innovation firm and his past role directing a center for rational energy use, he appears to have a strong interest in sustainability. He also follows global finance and business through publications like The Wall Street Journal and Financial Times.
