David Harwood is the retired Director of Renewable Energy at DTE Energy, where he led strategy, project development, and operations for a portfolio including seven utility-scale wind parks and 31 large solar arrays. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Baker College.
Outside of work, David is a French Horn player in the International Symphony Orchestra and a member of a Brass Quintet. An avid University of Michigan fan, he has been a football season ticket holder since 1983 and enjoys playing golf whenever possible.
During his time at the University of Michigan, David was a four-year member of the Michigan Marching Band.
