David McGuire

David McGuire is the Manager for Prince Edward Islands Agrifood & Seafood Services and the founder of the expanding Bogside Brewing. He leverages his MBA and project management background to foster growth in both the public and private sectors of PEIs food and beverage industry.

Deeply committed to his local community, David spent years realizing his decade-long dream of opening a brewery. He is passionate about using locally sourced ingredients and creating community hubs, even researching hundreds of breweries across Canada and Europe to perfect his vision.

He uniquely balances his full-time role as a government manager in the agri-food sector with being the hands-on owner of a successful craft brewery.
