David is an accomplished financial professional and educator, currently serving as an Academic Director. His career began at Investors Group where he was named “Rookie of the Year. ” He is a Chartered Financial Planner with degrees from York University and George Brown College and has authored seven books on financial well-being.
Originally from Guyana where he was a teacher, David moved to Canada in 1974. He is an active community leader in Toronto, having served on the Board of Governors for George Brown College and co-chaired events for the Canada India Foundation. He is passionate about mentoring young people.
He is a recipient of the Ontario Premier’s Award in recognition of his achievements as an outstanding graduate.
