Derek Martin

A licensed Professional Engineer with a degree from Georgia Tech, he previously served as a Combat Engineer Officer with the 101st Airborne Division before beginning his construction career.
Outside of work, Derek is a Nashville native who enjoys woodworking, playing the drums, and traveling with his wife. He is actively involved in his community, having volunteered as a reader for the youth literacy non-profit Bookem for over fifteen years, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to the cause.
He humorously notes he switched from a career of "destruction" (working with explosives in the army) to one of construction.
