Diane Denish is an experienced advisor and former public servant with a background as a small business entrepreneur. As New Mexicos first female Lt. Governor, she focused on public-private partnerships and economic development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico and has run two small businesses.
Throughout her career, Diane has been deeply involved in community leadership, having chaired New Mexico First and the New Mexico Community Foundation. She is a lifelong New Mexican who continues to be active in state policy and advocacy. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking.
As Lt. Governor, she created a Childrens Cabinet and Childrens Budget that became a national model for early childhood initiatives.
