Diane Shields

Diane Shields is the System Vice President of Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Legislation at MidMichigan Health. With a career spanning over three decades, she has extensive expertise in human resources, legislative relations, and strategic communications. She holds a Masters degree in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University and an SPHR certification.

Outside of her official role, Diane is a dedicated advocate for the health of Michigans rural communities. She actively engages in legislative issues, advocating for regional needs like physician recruitment and broadband access to ensure residents have a strong voice in government and care close to home.

She has personally addressed government commissions to advocate for fair legislative districting on behalf of the communities her health system serves.
