Diego Alexander Marcelino Muñoz Rojas

Diego is a Masters student in Engineering Sciences at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, specializing in robotics and electrical engineering. He has practical experience in heavy machinery automation from his internship at the Advanced Mining Technology Center and has co-authored a paper on semi-automated systems for backhoe loaders.

His academic and professional interests are complemented by a focus on sustainable energy, demonstrated by a certification in solar power systems. He is also a recipient of the prestigious ANID national scholarship for his masters studies, highlighting his academic excellence in the engineering field.

He co-authored a research paper on implementing a semi-automated system for an excavator, published by the IEEE.
