Dillon Bickell is a Community Consultation Worker for the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, focusing on environmental protection and upholding Aboriginal and Treaty rights. A former Councillor with a background in Civil Engineering Technology and executive education from Harvard, he is deeply committed to advocating for his communitys interests on project-based initiatives.
Outside of his professional role, Dillon is a self-taught Ojibwe quillwork artist who creates pieces that blend traditional techniques with contemporary pop culture themes. He is a passionate advocate for Indigenous representation in public art spaces and speaks on the importance of acknowledging Indigenous history for building respectful community relationships.
He is a skilled quillworker whose art, including pieces inspired by Star Wars, has been added to the permanent collection of the Orillia Museum of Art & History.
