Her venture was inspired by the challenges she faced as the primary caregiver for her mother, who was a wheelchair user. A cancer survivor herself, Doris is deeply passionate about ensuring those with health challenges can still enjoy life with dignity and access to the outdoors, a conviction that fuels her professional mission.
She named her company Diamond Cab because her mother loved diamonds, and she wants to remind people that wheelchair users are also diamonds who deserve dignified lives.
