Dr. Brandon Martin is the Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he focuses on strategic growth, fundraising, and comprehensive excellence. He holds a Doctor of Education from USC and is also the Co-Chairman of the Black AD Alliance, promoting the development of Black athletics administrators at the Division I level.
Originally from Los Angeles, he maintains strong family ties there and is passionate about mentorship and community through sports, stemming from his involvement in legendary summer basketball leagues. He has a deep belief in Kansas Citys potential and is focused on building strong relationships within the local community to elevate the universitys athletic programs.
He is the author of "Leading in the Unknown: A New Paradigm for Leaders in Intercollegiate Athletics. "
