Einar Stole is a Partner at Covington & Burling specializing in high-stakes patent litigation for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. His legal expertise is built upon a strong scientific foundation, including a post-doctoral fellowship in biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University and a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
Outside his primary practice, Einar is actively engaged in pro bono work, consistently providing legal assistance to military veterans through the National Veterans Legal Services Program. He has been recognized multiple times for his contributions and also supports his law school alma mater as a donor.
Before becoming an attorney, he was a research scientist at Johns Hopkins University studying DNA and enzymes, and later served as a patent examiner at the U. S. Patent & Trademark Office.
