Ellen Kavanaugh

Ellen Kavanaugh is the founder and principal of Kavanaugh Interiors, a Palm Beach-based firm established in 2011. As a nationally certified ASID designer, she is known for a signature style that blends traditional aesthetics with a youthful, modern sensibility, often incorporating bold colors and textures into her sophisticated residential projects.

Originally from the South, Ellen draws inspiration from her travels, particularly to Europe, as well as from art and antiques. She often collaborates with her husband, Will, on projects. Her design philosophy is influenced by her mothers classic style, focusing on creating spaces that are both beautiful and comfortably livable.

A unique aspect of her design approach is incorporating an element of "folly" or surprise into every room.
