An American Cancer Society Professor with degrees from Harvard and Cornell, he leads national efforts against cancer, HIV/AIDS, and emerging infectious diseases by fostering extensive scientific collaborations.
He is a passionate advocate for diversity in science, annually co-hosting a conference to support and promote women in STEM fields.
