As Head of Bioinformatics at CNIO, Fátima Al-Shahrour is an expert in cancer genomics and precision medicine. She develops computational methods for interpreting genomic data to predict effective cancer therapies. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and trained at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard before joining CNIO in 2012.
