Login to view DISC.Dr. Felix E. Rivera-Mariani is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at Lynn University with expertise in immunology, environmental health, and computational biology. A PhD from the University of Puerto Rico with a postdoc at Johns Hopkins, he founded the RIPLRT Institute to advance respiratory health research and mentor future scientists.
He is deeply committed to inclusion, diversity, anti-racism, and equity (IDARE), which is a foundational pillar of his professional work. Dr. Rivera-Mariani founded "Vistazo A La Ciencia, " a multimedia science communication platform, to make science accessible, particularly to Spanish-speaking communities.
He is a principal investigator on a research project studying the effects of therapeutic group drumming on stress biomarkers.
