Dr. Fouad Chebib is a distinguished nephrologist and NIH-funded physician-scientist at Mayo Clinic in Florida. He directs the PKD Center of Excellence and the Discovery & Translational PKD Research Lab, focusing on Polycystic Kidney Disease. He earned his medical degree from the University of Balamand and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University.
Inspired by his fathers battle with PKD, Dr. Chebib is deeply committed to patient advocacy and education. He serves on the Board of Directors for the PKD Foundation and actively participates in patient-focused podcasts and educational initiatives to improve the lives of those affected by the disease.
He established one of the first clinics in the U. S. dedicated to Tolvaptan, the first FDA-approved treatment for ADPKD.
