Gaetano Auricchio

Gaetano Auricchio is the President of BelGioioso Cheese, continuing a family legacy that began when his father moved from Italy to Wisconsin in 1979. Raised in the business, his leadership is shaped by a hands-on upbringing and a foundational principle of prioritizing quality above all. He attended Northwestern University for his economics degree.

Outside of work, Gaetano is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys road cycling and hiking with his family. He frequently travels to Italy, a country where he spent his childhood summers, to reconnect with his heritage, enjoy the food, and research the latest cheese trends in local supermarkets.

He grew up working in the cheese plants during his summers, flipping cheese wheels and packing mozzarella.
