A registered Professional Engineer in Texas, he earned his BS from Texas Tech University and MS from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, specializing in solving complex environmental business problems.
Outside of work, Gary is deeply committed to his community. He has served as Chair for the Galveston County Long Term Recovery Group, aiding recovery from Hurricane Harvey, and is a board member for Higher Up Texas, an organization supporting youth. He is also an active member of his local Rotary Club.
He holds a patent for a method of combusting fuel with pure oxygen to create a CO2 stream suitable for sequestration.
