Gaurav Kapadia

He previously co-founded Soroban Capital Partners and was a Partner at TPG-Axon Capital. Gaurav graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
He is deeply involved in civic causes, serving on the boards of the Whitney Museum of American Art, Uncommon Schools, and Hudson River Park Friends. An avid art collector, he focuses specifically on contemporary American artists from his own generation. He lives in Tribeca with his wife and three children.
As a child in Queens, he acted as the de facto landlord for his familys rental properties, collecting rent and honing his business judgment from the age of ten.
