Gen. CQ Brown, Jr. is a retired 40-year Air Force veteran who served as the 21st Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the nations highest-ranking military officer. A distinguished engineering graduate from Texas Tech University, he now holds an executive-in-residence appointment at Duke University, advising on leadership and national security.
He is a command pilot with over 3, 000 flying hours and values his roles as a husband and father above all. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys NFL football, exploring good food, and smoking brisket. His personal motto is, "Every Day is a Good Day, Just Some Days are Better. "
