Gena Hall is the General Manager for North Alabama Electric Cooperative, where she leads 53 employees in providing reliable and affordable energy to over 19, 000 members. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Auburn University, she is one of only three female electric cooperative managers in Alabama, focusing on infrastructure upgrades and community engagement.
Originally from Stevenson, AL, Genas background is in animal and dairy science, with early career ambitions of becoming a veterinarian. She is an avid hunter, a passion she shared with her father. Before her career in the energy sector, she helped run her familys hunting preserve.
Unique fact: Gena once raised approximately 40, 000 quail per year at her familys hunting preserve.
