Gene Smyth is the Owner and President of Dreyers of Las Vegas, an ice cream distributorship he founded in 1982. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a background as a Controller at McKesson Corp, he built a successful family business. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska.
Growing up on a farm in Nebraska, Gene developed a lifelong passion for sports. He was an accomplished athlete in his youth, playing football, baseball, and track, and later enjoyed golf. He is known for his humility, patience, and quiet strength, as well as a playful side.
