George Burkhard
Login to view DISC.George Burkhard is the co-Founder and CTO of Sinovia Technologies, a Y Combinator-backed company developing flexible printed OLED displays. He is also a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund. With a Ph. D. in Applied Physics from Stanford and a B. S. from Yale, his expertise is in organic semiconductors and solar technology.
His long-standing passion for applied engineering began in college as a member of the Yale Solar Car team. Described by former colleagues as having an "adventurous curiosity for the unknown, " he is known for his ability to build and repair complex equipment and his broad understanding of how things work.
George co-founded his company, Sinovia Technologies, based on the foundational research he conducted during his Ph. D. program at Stanford University.
