Gord Davison

He is known for building and scaling enterprise programs that blend human-centered design and responsible AI. He recently announced his departure from IBM, concluding a long tenure where he led major design studios and enablement programs.
He is a Sessional Instructor at the University of Torontos Faculty of Information, where he has co-instructed and evolved the "UX Leadership and Influence" course since 2020. He is passionate about mentoring students and shaping the next generation of UX professionals. People who have worked with him describe him as inspiring, thoughtful, and a great collaborator.
As a design leader at IBM, he was instrumental in the Conveyor AI project winning a Red Dot Design Award in 2023 for its user experience.
