Hala Borno is the Founder and CEO of Trial Library, an AI-enabled platform focused on advancing access to precision medicine. A medical oncologist and Associate Professor at UCSF specializing in genitourinary cancers, she earned her MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers.
Her personal background as a refugee from the first Gulf War has given her a deep conviction to serve vulnerable populations. She identifies most importantly as a mother of three and balances her demanding career with a supportive partner and healthy routines, including regular physical activity.
