Hank Breitenkam is the Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Oakland Park, with extensive experience in South Floridas municipal utilities sector. He previously served as the Director of Utilities for the City of Plantation, focusing on water resource management, conservation, and developing alternative water supply options like using the Floridan Aquifer.
Outside of his public works career, Hank is a Humanist Chaplain and Celebrant. He volunteers at the Martin Correctional Institution, where he established and leads a Humanist Fellowship for inmates, focusing on fostering community and the ability to lead ethical lives of personal responsibility.
