Hanna Dettki is an applied machine learning researcher and cognitive scientist focused on bridging human and artificial intelligence. At the Simons Foundations Flatiron Institute, she develops open-source frameworks for modeling human perception. She holds dual masters degrees from New York University and the University of Tübingen and created a toolkit for benchmarking causal reasoning in LLMs.
Outside of her academic work, Hanna enjoys engaging in various sports and playing board games.
