Hans Balmaekers

As Chief at Innov8rs, Hans Balmaekers leads a global community dedicated to empowering corporate innovators. A self-described "Convener, " he designs experiences that bring people together to foster collaboration and drive impactful change. He previously spent five years in a corporate innovation role, giving him firsthand experience of the sectors challenges.

Hans is passionate about creating environments that support learning and connection. He believes that bringing people together for shared experiences and deep conversations is the key to unlocking value and a sense of belonging. He holds a Masters Degree in Dutch Law from Maastricht University.

He has a unique perspective on innovation, framing the work as three distinct jobs: a "day job" for execution, a "night job" for securing internal support, and a "weekend job" for reshaping corporate culture.
