Hiva Fassihi

Dr. Hiva Fassihi is a distinguished Consultant Dermatologist at Guys and St Thomas Hospital, where she leads the Photodermatology Unit and the UKs National Xeroderma Pigmentosum Service. A graduate of the University of Cambridge, her expertise encompasses genetic skin disorders, skin cancer, and pediatric dermatology. She also holds a position as an Honorary Professor at Kings College London.

Outside of her extensive clinical and research commitments, she is a mother to two children and resides in London with her husband. She actively contributes to public health by participating in parliamentary groups on UV safety and working with skincare brands to promote sun protection awareness.

She is a leading authority on Xeroderma Pigmentosum, a rare genetic disorder, heading the national clinical service for patients in the UK.
