Jacob Obermeier

Jacob is the Director of Controls Engineering at TAIT, where he has progressed from an engineer to a leadership position. His career is rooted in live entertainment, having previously served as the Head of Automation for Cirque du Soleils acclaimed "Kurios" touring show. He studied Show Production at Full Sail University.

Originally a native of Dallas, Jacob has built a specialized career in the high-stakes world of live show automation. His work ensures that complex and fantastical productions are executed safely and flawlessly, impressing audiences on a nightly basis.

He was responsible for the automation of a massive, high-tension net for acrobats that was a central feature of a Cirque du Soleil production.
