A University of Oxford PhD graduate, he previously led bioinformatics at Kymab Ltd, developing the IntelliSelect® antibody discovery platform, and is recognized as a pioneer in immune receptor repertoire sequencing.
Driven by personal experience, Jake co-founded Phylax Technologies with his brother to develop tools that support people with neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimers. This venture aims to help prevent accidental online purchases, addressing a common challenge for those with cognitive decline and their families.
He was inspired to start Phylax after a person he knew with young-onset Alzheimers experienced difficulties with accidental online shopping.
