Janine M. Manning is an elected Band Councillor for the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation and the CEO of the Indigenous Peoples Resilience Fund. An Honours Bachelor of Arts graduate from York University, she also runs a consultancy focused on helping organizations achieve their Indigenous relations and reconciliation goals. People who have worked with her describe her as strategic, collaborative, and courageous.
Janine was the first Indigenous person to chair a private philanthropic foundation in Canada (Laidlaw Foundation), where she championed diverse leadership.
