Greg Nadjiwon is the Chief of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, focused on creating economic prosperity and sustainable growth for his community. He champions development through strategic corporate partnerships and staunchly defends his Nation’s treaty rights and environmental stewardship, particularly concerning land and water protection.
Born on a military base to veteran parents, Greg is most at home on the land. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, walking in nature, picking wood and rocks, and the unique craft of making walking canes. He is also passionate about creating educational opportunities for his communitys youth.
Before dedicating his career to his people, he worked for 37 years as an ironworker across North America, from the Carolinas to Alaska.
