Jeff Deal

Jeff Deal is a Senior Software Engineer with a deep, 20-year background in IT, including programming, database administration, and UNIX systems engineering. He holds a bachelors in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Appalachian State University and has consistently applied his technical expertise across academic, non-profit, and energy sectors in the Appalachian region.

His primary passion is renewable energy, demonstrated by his role as Co-founder and Project Director for the Appalachian Institute for Renewable Energy (AIRE).
