Jerry Wang is the founder and CEO of Tuya Smart, a global IoT cloud platform. A serial entrepreneur, he founded the popular open-source forum software PHPWind in 2003 while still in university. After it was acquired by Alibaba, he served as the first general manager of Alibaba Cloud.
He founded Tuya in 2014 with other Alibaba veterans, aiming to simplify the development of smart devices for manufacturers worldwide. Jerry was named to the Forbes China "30 Under 30" list in 2012.
