Jess Shank Coppom

Jess Coppom is the founder and creative director of Make & Do Crew, where she translates a decade of advertising experience into making classic yarn crafts appealing to a new generation. She provides accessible crochet and knitting patterns, often collaborating with major yarn companies.

Jess was taught to crochet by her mother at age eight and now works alongside her mom and sisters. She has a passion for experimenting with crochet geometry, designing cardigans, and has authored a book on the subject of corner-to-corner crochet.

She has a self-described case of "busy-hands-itis" and humorously suspects she might have even knit her own placenta in utero.
