Jesse Vollmar is the CEO of Precipitation Inc., a Y Combinator-funded company using AI for hyperlocal rainfall monitoring. He previously founded FarmLogs, a leading farm management software in the US, and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30. He earned a BS from Saginaw Valley State University.
Jesse grew up on a fifth-generation family farm in Michigan, which sparked his interest in agricultural technology. With his wife, he founded Blue Barn Meadows, a small regenerative farm focused on flowers and produce, where they test practices to improve soil health and sustainability.
While still a full-time student, he built and ran an IT consulting firm, growing it from zero to over $350K in annual revenue with five employees.
