He advises public and private companies on domestic and cross-border transactions across diverse sectors. Jim holds both Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations and earned an MBA from the University of Toronto.
Outside of his professional work, Jim supports childrens mental health initiatives as a listed donor for Capitalize for Kids. He also maintains ties with his alma mater, the University of Toronto, by participating as a guest speaker for the Master of Management & Professional Accounting program.
Jim was a founding partner of two of Canadas leading independent investment banks: Origin Merchant Partners and its predecessor, Genuity Capital Markets.
