John Bridson
John Bridson is the Senior Vice President of Generation & Operations Support at Evergy, managing over 15, 000 megawatts of diverse generating capacity. A Kansas State University mechanical engineering alumnus, he has held numerous leadership roles since joining the companys predecessor, Westar Energy, in 1993 and also serves on a nuclear corporation board.
John demonstrates a commitment to community and industry leadership outside of his primary role. He has served on the board of trustees for the Kansas Childrens Service League, supporting local families. He is also the past chairman of the board for the Powder River Basin Coal Users Group.
He helps provide oversight for Evergys nuclear power generation through his board position at the Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation.
