Judith Webster is an experienced arts leader and the Chief Executive of the Association of British Orchestras. Her career began as a music therapist and includes a ten-year tenure as CEO of Music for Youth. She earned a BMus from the University of Birmingham and an ARCM from the Royal College of Music.
Judith has a deep-rooted belief in the transformational power of music and champions making it accessible and inclusive. She has a particular passion for ensuring young people have opportunities for high-quality musical engagement, seeing it as crucial for wellbeing and development. She is also the Chair of Trustees for Open Up Music.
During the pandemic, she successfully reinvented Music for Youths national festival as a digital event, ensuring young musicians remained connected and supported.
