Julianna Lazzari is an M. D. Candidate at Duke University School of Medicine and a Research Assistant in their Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences department. Her research focuses on topics like addiction and neuroinflammation, building on her public health degree from Johns Hopkins University and co-authoring several publications.
An accomplished athlete, Julianna was an All-American in Track & Field and Cross Country while at Johns Hopkins University. She pursued a minor in Film during her undergraduate studies and has also dedicated time to volunteering with UNICEF, showcasing a diverse range of interests outside of medicine.
