Kamal Khushlani is the Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of Credo Brands Marketing, the parent company of the popular Indian menswear brand, Mufti. A self-taught designer and commerce graduate, he pioneered "alternative" casual wear in India, growing the brand from a small venture into a leading, publicly listed fashion company over 25 years.
Outside of work, Kamal is an avid fan of movies, cars, and cricket. He enjoys traveling, with Europe being a favorite destination, and finds inspiration in Mumbais vibrant culture, which he considers his muse. He also dedicates his evenings to spending quality time with his family.
He started his first apparel venture in 1992 with just ₹10, 000 borrowed from an aunt, initially carrying fabric on his motorbike and using his dining table as a warehouse.
