Outside of his professional focus on health technology, Kanishk is an endurance athlete who has completed a century bike ride. He is also a fan of the Arsenal Football Club, and has interests in music and finance, demonstrating a diverse range of passions beyond his entrepreneurial ventures.

Before attending Columbia, he co-created a device to help the visually impaired navigate spaces using ultra-sound imaging.
